Yes, the examine valve is most likely the problem....or a leak in the reservoir/vac lines. On my 2000, the check valve is top top the vacuum line that comes out of the passenger next of the manifold near the bottom. Ns think there space two in the line.

Thanks for the tip. Nope, ns haven"t changed anything. Ns just got the van from a girlfriend in Ca., threw a water pump ~ above her and drove it ago to TN, no problem. The truck shows up to it is in 100% unmolested. No odd wiring, no butchered anything, sort of amazing.
