I generally spend all over from 1-4 minutes reading a page depending upon the length and the dimension of print. The much longer I take to check out a page, the an ext I remember so i usually shot to take my time once I review to make certain I remember as much as possible (so ns won"t need to re-read the chapter again).

I don"t think the factors such as message size, fonts, figures/diagrams problem as lot as the contents itself. I deserve to probably read through 50 pages of basic fiction double as quick as 50 pages of a medical manual.

This book had rather bigger pages, but still go by how amazing quickly.http://www.bootan.com/bhutan/images/VisualOdyssey.jpgI"m a bit of a rate reader, for this reason 50 pages of a novel can take me 25-40 minutes, however when I"m looking at technical content the I"m not acquainted with, that rate slows considerably to assist my memory. The would most likely take me 75-90 minutes because that a textbook.

It relies on how you read. If you room to check out EVERY WORD, then i don"t think it different much amongst people. Yet if your purpose is come UNDERSTAND, girlfriend don"t really should read every word, not also every sentence, no one every paragraph.By the way, it"s actually faster to read non fictions, esp. Technological manuals than novels.

if to be talking about a novel climate 30-40 minutes depending upon my interest, for a textbook it would certainly be about an hour come an hour and 20 mins relying on the topic and my level of comprehension prior to reading.
I would intend to read a 50 web page chapter in about 2 hours. After reading it once, i would be able to read that the 2nd time in about an hour and also a half. I might read faster, however I discover my retention drops rapidly.

Depending ~ above your major and level, 5 hours for 50 pages are means too slow. Countless year 3 or 4 process have forced reading of much more than 100 pages every week. At that speed, just how do you discover time because that fun? university is not just about study after all. You"ll should learn just how to check out for both gist and specifics. In many cases, not every solitary paragraph is appropriate to her topic that research. If you"re a freshman, walk take part courses in your own college that teach the basics around reading/learning/taking notes (while reading).

Hey, don"t feel bad!!!!It also takes me around 4-5 hours to completely read, understand and also PERFECT about 50 pages in a TEXTBOOK. Novel analysis is a entirely different story.5 process = 5 chapters the textbook analysis per mainly (50 pgs per chapter)5 chapters x 4.5 hrs = 22.5 hours of research per week....which pipeline PLENTY that non-study time
Here comes an additional semesterI have actually tons of reading to do. 5 courses in total. About 4 process are based upon reading theory and models sort of thing. And also 1 course based on hands on.
