Emily:

I'm not sure if you mean 4sin^{2}(θ) = 1 or 4*sin(2*θ) = 1

If you are working on 4sin^{2}(θ) = 1 then sin^{2}(θ) = 1/4 so sin(θ) = 1/2 or sin(θ) = -1/2

We know θ = 30º solves sin(θ) = 1/2 and θ = -30º solves sin(θ) = -1/2.

On (-180, 180) θ = 180-30 =150º also solves sin(θ) = 1/2.

Can you figure the other value that will solve sin(θ) = -1/2?

Emily, remember the domain is (-180, 180). 210 > 180 . However notice that 210 = -180 + 30 = -150. This is the correct answer. You have the right idea but you need to pay attention to the interval in question.05/21/20

Get the other answer is 210. Can you tell me what’s the domain for this question05/20/20
