A “demonym” is a word “to denote a person who inhabits or is native to a particular place” (Merriam-Webster). So we wondered what people from places in Los Angeles County would be called (that"s what we in the almanac business do). A few names, such as "Angeleno," are well known and frequently used. However, what would you call someone from Culver City? We did a bit of digging and came up with the list below. Of course, this list is hardly official or definitive. There are no demonym rules and there are, no doubt, other variations than what we offer here.
